 X Japan were the winners of the Best International Band Award at this year's Revolver Golden Gods award show. The event, held in downtown Los Angeles, featured some of the most recognizable faces across the rock and metal spectrum - artists such as Slash, Korn, Slipknot were also winners of the night - which also featured a special performance by Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp.
In a category that included well-known artists such as Rammstein, Lacuna Coil and Sepultura, X were revealed as the winners with the most votes worldwide.
YOSHIKI, understandably overwhelmed by the win, collected the award on behalf of the band, during of which he thanked the fans for their continuing support during their world tour. In addition, YOSHIKI spoke about finishing up work on a worldwide album, plus intentions of another world tour in the not too distant future.

 PATA and Co. will be back on the road as Ra:IN announce several shows for an upcoming summer tour of their native Japan. So far, only four dates have been officially announced but following a tweet by DIE over a show in Kobe, it is expected that further shows will be added in the future. We'll update you with additional shows once more information is released.

The Hard-Rock and Heavy-Metal magazine "Revolver" is hosting it's yearly "Golden Gods" awards again on April 11th. This year X JAPAN are nominated as "Best International Band" alongside giants like Sepulture, Lacuna Coil and Rammstein.

It's been a while we heard anything new from PATA's band Ra:IN. But seems like they are not completely inactive!
DIE, the band's keyboarder, made the opening for a possible new Ra:IN song, saying on his blog that he made it in the middle of a snowy night and shared it on Youtube.
Further, Ra:IN will be holding a concert at the Live House Chicken George in Kobe on February 29th. Please check the website for more information.

 ToshI will release a special DVD Box "LIVE SAMURAI JAPAN". Pre-orders start from January 15, and worldwide online sales have also been planned.
