It has been announced in TAIJI’s blog, that there are some major changes going on regarding to D.T.R.
Four members (Mitsuo Takeuchi, Taiji Fujimoto, Roger Takahashi and Kenji Shimizu) left the band, which means only guitarist Tomoyuki Kuroda (TOMO) remains from the original D.T.R together with TAIJI who stated that this leaving was due to “musical differences”.
The leaving affects also a part of his staff. As it is stated in TAIJI’s blog, that happened due to breach of copyright. The remaining staff also posted that this was a very hard decision for TAIJI and tells everyone not to buy any D.T.R merchandise and/or CD’s, since the money won’t reach the band.
At the moment, he is looking for new staff and band members to create the new D.T.R that won’t be known any longer as “Dirty Trash Road”, but from now on will be “Death To Rive” instead.
Additionally, TAIJI said that he will still be working on Cloud Nine and Heavens aswell, and asks everyone to support him and the new D.T.R.
