YOSHIKI produces TV drama theme song

feat_yoshiki

It was announced that YOSHIKI composed “Bara no youni saite, Sakura no youni chitte” (which means “Bloom like a rose, Fall like a cherry blossom”), the theme song of a drama series “Seisei suruhodo, aishiteru” which is going to start to be aired on July 12th. According to YOSHIKI’s comment, it’s a Japanese-sounding song with Japanese chord progression and Japanese lyrics. Seiko Matsuda, a Japanese famous female pop singer who sang this song says “the sensitive beautiful melody and lyrics are really amazing”.

Let’s look forward to listening to it next Tuesday!

YOSHIKI also talked about X JAPAN’s new album. He says that it was decided that another song will be added to the album and they are recording it now. It seems that it’s the theme song of something and will be released in autumn ahead of the documentary film and the album. He is implying that he will make a big announcement within the next few weeks, so we are looking forward to that!
