It's been a while we heard anything new from PATA's band Ra:IN. But seems like they are not completely inactive!
DIE, the band's keyboarder, made the opening for a possible new Ra:IN song, saying on his blog that he made it in the middle of a snowy night and shared it on Youtube.
Further, Ra:IN will be holding a concert at the Live House Chicken George in Kobe on February 29th. Please check the website for more information.
ToshI will release a special DVD Box "LIVE SAMURAI JAPAN". Pre-orders start from January 15, and worldwide online sales have also been planned. More details will be announced soon on ToshI official website.

As just announced in a official press release, this year's theme some for the Golden Globe Awards will be composed by our YOSHIKI!

"7 DOORS - Duke Bluebeard's Castle", a play based on an opera composed by a Hungarian classical composer Béla Bartók, will be performed in Tokyo and Osaka from March to April, 2012. SUGIZO will take part in it not only as a music producer but also as an actor for the role of Bluebeard who lives in a castle with mysterious seven doors, and whom the heroine Judith gets married to.

Theatrics aside, SUGIZO will also be participating in an event "Global Conference for a Nuclear Power Free World" that will be held in Yokohama. The conference brings together experts from around the world to discuss the issue of nuclear power in our world. SUGIZO will appear in a talk show and a music show on January 14.
On the day after the 31st anniversary of John Lennon’s death, a memorial live is being held in Yokohama. Eight musicians including PATA will cover the great songs created by John.
