Will they play new songs? 
Only YOSHIKI and the rest of the members know what they will play. However we are led to believe that they will indeed perform new songs. Please keep an eye on the forthcoming album release as an indication of what they might play.
Update: Yoshiki announced they they will play their new song "Born to be free" for the first time at Lollapalooza.
I've heard they'll perform all songs in English...?
It is likely that they will perform a number of songs in English due to the demographic of the audience, however once again there is no guarantee that they will do so; it's entirely up to the band.
Are they going to play *insert song*?
It is entirely up to the band what songs they will play. Songs that are very often played such as Rusty Nail and Kurenai will be more likely than Vanishing Love.
How long is the band estimated to play?
Based on the band's positioning on the poster/lineup, we can safely suggest that the band will get one hour to perform.
Update: They are scheduled from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, which gives from almost an hour play time.
Are they only going to be there for a certain day?
Yes, they will only get one slot during the entire duration of the festival.
When will the schedule be posted?
No official date has been given yet for the release of the schedule, but based on previous years we can expect it to be released around June or July. Band's often individually leak information regarding what day they will perform.

Are they going to record it?
Past musicians have released Extended Plays based on their performance at Lollapalooza, however in terms of recording video then it seems unlikely.
Will I be able to purchase CD's/Merchandise at the festival?
They do sell merchandise of the artists, however there is no guarantee that a particular artist will do so. CD's are usually available to be purchased from sponsored tents.
I've heard there might be an autograph tent with the chance of meeting some of my favourite artists, is this true?
Details regarding the Autograph tent have not been released yet, but please keep in mind that if it's a fairly big artist then queues might develop.
How can I guarantee a good spot?
Get there extra early and watch the bands that are due to perform before X.
Is Sugizo playing with them here?
Yes, Sugizo is officially a member of X Japan.

Aside from the show itself, is there anything else planned related to X JAPAN?
JRockRevolution's official campaign X Perience is dedicated to X JAPAN's debut. Those who ordered the X Perience fan package will have the possibility to pick it up directly in Chicago at an off side location (if you ordered it, you will be contacted by the X Perience team for further details)
