On July 4th, the weather in Berlin screamed ‘stay inside’. The wind hits the trees, the rain rarely stopped dropping, and the humidity level was high.
However, outside Collumbiahalle, approximately 3000 people seemingly had little interest in the weather. I was standing together with the crowd which was gradually increasing from 10 am until 7pm, under the rain and with plastic bags to cover the muddy ground that we were sitting on with no food and little water. But the people around me, including myself, gave you the impression that they could walk through the coldest part of Siberia in order to experience what about to happen inside the doors of the stadium.
After 14 years of disbandment and 4 years after their 2007 reunion, X Japan were finally here and at their last stop of their European tour. While waiting for the doors to open, wherever I turned my head, I could see someone smiling or laughing. People from all over Europe and even the world visited Berlin just to have this experience, including me:

On July 1st, X JAPAN played their second European show in Paris, a few days after their performance in London. ‘Le Zenith’, one of the biggest venues in Paris, was the right place to introduce the band to the large number of fans who awaited their concert. It seemed as though some people slept in front of the venue, that’s why Yoshiki asked his crew to bring them some hot chocolate …
The venue is comprised of several entrances, so different rows were built by the fans in front of Le Zénith, and from 15:00pm, the surroundings of the venue were swarming with people. After the rehearsal and sound check, doors opened at 18:30pm and fans had enough time to get their glow-sticks from the Xplosion’s team, and go to the merchandise stand.

It was a beautiful Friday afternoon when we were waiting for our train to Paris, still pretty shocked from yesterday evening‘s awesome concert. It was so wonderful and unreal to finally see X Japan live. It had been a dream of ours for many years and when it came true, we could do nothing but cry and stare at each other, astonished. What made that day even more fantastic was the knowing that we were about to see X two more times - in Paris and finally in Berlin. So, maybe on a third time it would actually strike us that we had seen this legendary band live.
It was fun hanging there, waiting for the train in our international group of X freaks. The atmosphere rose all the way to the rooftop when we heard something that didn't actually help us recover from yesterday's shock. From YOSHIKI's Twitter we found out that he was going to be in the same train with us!

Bien qu’il ait commencé à pleuvoir en fin d’après-midi, le Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall débordait d’excitation – excitation émise par la foule qui, pour la plupart, que la soirée commence. Au rez-de-chaussée, chacun faisait passer le temps à sa façon – certains faisait la queue pour acheter des goodies, d’autres prenaient des photos avec les cosplayers, d’autres encore allaient manger au fast-food ou trainaient simplement avec leurs amis.
Après 19h00, le public fut autorisé à monter au 4e étage, où le concert allait se dérouler. La salle était immense et des sièges étaient disposés sur le sol. En attendant que le concert commence, les fans scandaient "We Are!!" "X!!" pour exprimer leur émotion et leur impatience.

La tournée Asiatique de X Japan a débuté le 28 Octobre à Seoul, en Corée. Un moment très attendu par les fans Coréens, un moment dont ils avaient toujours rêvé, étant donné que le groupe avait déjà annoncé puis annulé plusieurs concerts en Corée par le passé.
Le groupe avait choisi pour salle l’Olympic Gymnasium No.1 située dans l’Olympic Park, un parc gigantesque construit pour les J.O. d’été 1988. En plus du merchandising, une exposition de photos organisée par le fan club Coréen avait été installée devant le gymnase, ce qui avait permis de distraire la foule venue attendre devant la salle.
